Collins Aerospaces Strategic Solutions team is looking for an exceptionally motivated Engineer that is passionate about collaborating with HighPerformance Teams to create mission critical solutions supporting Mission Systems.
Our Software Engineers work in an exciting adaptive and engaging environment enabling rapid learning to drive success. Our software engineers utilize a variety of skills on a regular basis including requirements analysis development and delivery of highquality mission critical software. This position will support the shaping of the future of NC3 defense systems for the armed forces. This position is located onsite in Richardson TX.
What You Will Do:
You will team up with a highperformance software team collaborating with fellow Software engineers Scrum Masters Product Owners Software Architects and other teams.
You will support requirements decomposition and derivation to produce Software Requirements.
You will participate in the design of the capabilities producing UML and SysML diagrams.
You will be responsible for producing high quality mission critical software.
You will participate in code and related artifacts peer reviews.
You will create test cases.

You will gain valuable experience & an opportunity to lead including roles such as Scrum Master.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
1 years professional experience with Object Oriented Development using Java with the ability to create complex software designs based on customers requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
Experience/Understanding UML SysML MBSE and CAMEO Modeling tools.
Experience/Understanding requirements analysis requirements decomposition and derivation.
Understanding virtualization.
Understanding microservices containers and orchestrators.
Understanding OMS.
Understanding DevSecOps and CI/CD.
Understanding pub/subs bus such as ActiveMQ DDS.
Understanding Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
Understanding Graphical User Interfaces with Java frameworks such as Swing or JavaFx.
