As part of the customer delivery team a Junior Consultant at Red Hat is a technical person who supports the onsite delivery implementation and adoption of Red Hat technology. These projects span various industries as we partner with customers to build enterprise IT solutions based on Red Hat platforms that are the trusted consistent and comprehensive foundation for any enterprise.

We are looking for passionate individuals based in Canberra Australia and early in their technical career to help us unlock the worlds potential.
What you will do:
During your first year as a Junior Consultant you will engage in a cohortbased program starting in September 2025. Through this experience you will:
Learn all about Red Hat and how we support our customers to address their technical developmental and strategic business challenges with our portfolio and services
Build a strong support network of your Peers Manager Mentor and other Red Hatters within and outside of your customer projects
Develop technical skills in the Red Hat portfolio that span Cloud Automation and platform solutions by completing training programs and attaining industryrecognized certifications
Apply your technical skills as you engage in meaningful customer projects experiences and job shadowing opportunities
Enhance your professional capabilities through realworld experiences working directly with customers and participating in skill development opportunities
What you will bring:
Passion and curiosity for open source technology and desire to build a career within the Tech industry
Strong technical skills in computer science IT AI or related fields gained through university programs upskilling bootcamps certificate programs.
Demonstrated experience applying technical analytical and problemsolving skills in an Enterprise ITrelated projects. Direct experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Red Hat OpenShift Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and related technologies is an added advantage.
Willingness to travel to customer sites for project work and to local Red Hat offices to engage other Red Hat associates
Effective communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external customers
Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English
Australian government security clearance required
