Cedar Park Med is seeking Critical Care RNs (Peds PICU PACU)
PACU: 13 week contract. 6 12hour shifts every 2 weeks. The candidate will be scheduled days 07am7.30pm and evenings 11am11.30pm in the same pay period. The position requires some weekends.
PICU: 13 weeks contract. 12hr night shifts. Every other weekend and some holidays required.
***Hiring for both local and traveler positions! Only candidates outside a 50mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.***
Requirements:
- Current New York State Registration. Certified in BLS and able to be recertified.
- 3 years of PACU/PICU experience in a level 1 or level 2 trauma center.
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience (within past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as Hospital.
- Experience with an EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must not have had professional license or certification suspended or investigated.
Duties: Able to perform majority of patient care skills good nursing assessment in the level of acute care setting in the specialty with minimal orientation and supervision.
