PRODUCTION & DONATION ASSOCIATE

The position of Family Thrift Store Production & Donation Associate presents an exciting opportunity for a highenergy selfdirected individual to support the mission of Life Network. This role is donorfacing and requires excellent communication skills as well as the ability to perform physical tasks associated with receiving processing and merchandising donated goods. This position will work under the guidance of the Director and Assistant Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cheerfully greet donors and receive donations
• Effectively communicate Life Networks mission statement
• Sort and price donated items
• Maintains an atmosphere of teamwork and fellowship with other staff and volunteers
• Ensures donated items meet FTS standards for quality and suitability
• Merchandise processed items onto the sales floor as appropriate contributing to a wellorganized and appealing shopping environment
• Provide excellent customer service while on the sales floor
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the production areas to facilitate efficient donation processing
• Participation by all staff is required at Life Networks major events

EXPERIENCE

• High school graduate
• Thrift store or retail experience a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong advocate for the sanctity of life issues
• Possesses Christian testimony with evidence of Christian maturity in personal and professional life
• Active commitment to a local church
• A passion for the ministry accomplished through Life Network
• Demonstrates qualities of initiative teamwork and goal orientated
• Exhibits initiative teamwork and a goalorientated mindset in accomplishing tasks
• Flexible and adaptable in handling unpredictable situations
• Enjoys interaction with the public providing courteous and helpful service to donors and customers
• Capable of lifting 5075 lbs. and performing physical tasks associated with donation handling and store maintenance
• Hold a valid drivers license with a clean record able to meet transportation needs as required by the position

CLASSIFICATION

Fulltime for 32 hours per week. Pay range: $14.81 $17.00 per hour. Scheduled hours between Monday through Saturday. Reports to Thrift Store Director.
