The Corporate Partnership Sales Manager is responsible for identifying developing and securing new corporate partnerships for the Portland Timbers and Providence Park. This role requires a highly motivated sales professional who can cultivate relationships with brands negotiate partnership agreements and generate revenue through sponsorship sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Sales Development:
Identify and target potential corporate sponsors that align with the Timbers and Providence Park brands.
Develop and deliver compelling partnership proposals tailored to prospective sponsors objectives.
Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate decisionmakers marketing executives and business leaders.
Work collaboratively with internal teams including marketing activation and gameday operations to ensure seamless partnership execution.
Negotiation & Contract Management:
Lead contract negotiations ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive revenue and brand value.
Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize and execute partnership contracts.
Activation & Fulfillment:
Coordinate with activation teams to ensure the successful execution of sponsorship assets including signage digital media ingame promotions and hospitality.
Monitor and track sponsorship performance delivering postcampaign reports and insights to partners.
Industry & Market Analysis:
Stay informed on industry trends emerging marketing strategies and competitive sponsorship landscapes.
Identify innovative sponsorship opportunities that enhance the fan experience and provide value to partners.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in business marketing sports management or a related field.
13 years of experience in corporate partnership sales sponsorships or B2B sales preferably in sports or entertainment.
Skills & Competencies:
Proven ability to generate revenue through sponsorship sales.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding abilities.
Selfmotivated goaloriented and able to work in a fastpaced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and game days.
