Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts!

Whats the role

The Marketing Manager will assist in the implementation of hotel marketing initiatives including cultivating local relationships and generating brand awareness via social media platforms. This position will work closely with the Commercial Director hotel HODs & property sales teams. The ideal candidate would be a selfstarter outgoing a creative thinker and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment.


What are the job duties and responsibilities

  • Drive traffic to the hotel onsite dining outlets golf & spa through email campaigns local events programming and sponsorships
  • Ensure proper brand standards across all executions & marketing materials
  • Manage the creation and upkeep of property marketing events and email calendars working closely with the revenue & property teams to determine packages & promotions
  • Assist with paid and organic social support for the properties. Collect and create content draft content calendars and interact with community on social platforms to drive awareness and engagement
  • Shape property marketing and promotions by being involved in design for promotional materials such as eblasts advertising and collateral
  • Monitor all website updates and daytoday changes including packages and events and food & beverage in conjunction with the revenue management and sales teams
  • Align internal stakeholders across sales revenue F&B spa & golf to implement and execute programmes aligned with goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and measure effectiveness of marketing communications/campaigns
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure all relevant hotel departments are kept informed of marketing objectives and initiatives
  • Ensure all 3rd party websites are updated accurate and display correct Formby Hall branding
  • Oversee digital marketing & PR agency activity


What are we looking for from you

  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience preferably within a 45* hotel environment
  • Knowledge of the golf industry would be advantageous
  • Degree in Marketing Advertising or Communications or related field preferable
  • Work effectively in a fastpaced environment and consistently demonstrate a high level of organisational skill
  • High level of curiosity about the marketplace competitors and guest base
  • Ability to work both independently and cohesively in a team
  • Experience with Revinate would be advantageous
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
