The OttawaCarleton District School Board is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario and offers students and parents a world of choice for learning. We are seeking creative dynamic and committed teachers to join our team at Osgoode PS.
Osgoode Public School is located on Osgoode Main Street and is a big part of the streetscape in the village of Osgoode. It serves a community that is a blend of old new rural village and riverfront development. We have approximately 270 students in JK grade 6 including our bilingual twoyear kindergarten program and both the English and the Early French Immersion programs for students in grades 1 6. Our mission is to provide each child with the opportunity to achieve their potential and to provide a positive inviting safe and caring climate. It is important to us to help our students be the best they can be by working hard being kind and inclusive making good choices and developing into exemplary citizens. Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the OttawaCarleton District School Boards (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school and the District by creating a positive and inclusive school climate learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with a human rights and equity perspective to foster student success achievement and wellbeing.
All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.

Required Qualifications
OCT Divisional Qualifications: Primary/Junior
OCT Additional Qualifications: FSL Part 1
Additional Requirements (experience knowledge education) considered an asset for the Position: Kindergarten qualifications are an asset. Experience working in Junior EFI; experience working in a rural school
Additional Information: Rural school located in the village of Osgoode; small school with 275 students from JK to 6

1. At least three (3) teachers who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
2. If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
