Job Description
As a Scientist in Analytical Enabling CapabilitiesData Rich Measurements you will work with a highly collaborative team to advance the development pipeline. You will be primarily responsible for developing analytical methods for small molecules peptides proteinbased therapeutics and emerging modalities in our portfolio. You will work side by side with process chemists to deploy innovative technologies and analytical workflows for highthroughput analysis and characterization across fastpaced laboratory settings (Protein Engineering Biocatalysis). As a member of our team you will be joining a diverse group of scientific problem solvers who are dedicated to creating the lifechanging products of tomorrow.
Education Minimum Requirement:
MS in chemistry pharmaceutical sciences or a related discipline and 12 years of relevant experience or BS in chemistry materials science or a related discipline with 35 years of relevant experience
Required Experience and Skills:
Exceptional organizational and documentation skills applied to scientific research
Excellent written and verbal communication
RPLC of small molecule pharmaceuticals peptides proteins
MS analysis including and hyphenation with LC
Knowledge of highthroughput analysis and screening techniques
Hands on experience and knowledge on troubleshooting instrumentation
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Thorough understanding of chromatographic and mass spectrometry
Strong analytical chemistry skillsets and method development
Multimode separation techniques including reversed phase ion exchange size exclusion chromatography etc.
Background on characterization techniques especially LCMS
Experience on optimization and deployment of analytical assays
Will to learn new technologies and automation

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5 2023 employees in officebased positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days onsite per week Monday Thursday although the specific days may vary by site or organization with Friday designated as a remoteworking day unless business critical tasks require an onsite Hybrid work model does not apply to and daily inperson attendance is required for fieldbased positions; facilitybased manufacturingbased or researchbased positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collectivebargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors which may include but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidates relevant skills experience and education.
Expected US salary range:
$85600.00 $134800.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility long term incentive if applicable health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family) retirement benefits paid holidays vacation and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
