Principal Full Stack Engineer (Angular, NodeJS, Java)

The Role

This role involves a high level of partnership and collaboration within a matrixed environment with key partnerships across Distribution and Technology teams.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelors in computer science or related major with 10 years of fullstack development experience or Masters in computer science or related major with 8 years of fullstack development.
• Investment/financial services experience will be a plus.
• Experience and expertise in at least one modern UI framework (e.g. Angular) is a must. Exposure to many frameworks is a nice to have.
• Proficiency with Angular 8/ Typescript Core JavaScript HTML 5 and CSS
• Expertise in the product is preferred with proficiency in FDC3 standards to design implement and maintain seamless application integration and interoperability
• Experience of using and a good understanding of npm packages.
• Build deploy and run applications in the Cloud (AWS Serverless EKS KMS Step Functions Lambda S3 Kubernetes). AWS / Azure certifications preferred.
• Good understanding of automation (testing continuous integration/deployment)
• Dedication to high quality balanced with rapid pace of delivery delivering technology changes to end users every two weeks and as frequent as daily
• Proven track record delivering great UIs to production
• Experience with GraphQL and NestJS.
• Experience of consuming and designing RESTful APIs and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design.
• Experience with Monorepo / micro frontend using NX is a plus
• Experience with DevOps CI/CD practices TDD knowledge of modern testing framework is a plus
• Experience or certification in Cloudbased (AWS GCP Azure etc.) architectures is nice to have
• Built robust frontend experiences and usercentered products services and platforms at scale
• Specialist understanding and experience with the full UI development process including planning analysis design coding user testing problem debugging and resolution.
• Ability to take ownership of technology strategy and guide decisions about end user experience.
• Experience delivering resilient and highquality software systems
• You own the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results.
• Excellent facilitation influencing and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills both through written and verbal channels.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization distributed across geographic locations.
