ChristianaCare a nationally recognized leader in healthcare is actively recruiting a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our growing practice in Middletown Delaware.
Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians are encouraged to apply!
Position Highlights:
- Team Composition: Parttime physician fulltime Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) and two highly skilled Medical Assistants (MA).
- Patient Demographics: Internal Medicine for patients over 18 years old Family Medicine for all ages
- Patient Panel: 1200 patients with an average of 1215 patients per day.
- Virtual Flexibility: Opportunity for one virtual day per week.
- Call Schedule: Shared call schedule of 1:9 with another local practice averaging 310 calls per week.
- Additional Compensation: Paid desktop coverage and moonlighting opportunities available.
- StateoftheArt Facility: Constructed in 2021 and includes Pediatrics (newborn) Neurology and Psychiatry services onsite. New equipment/tech with implementation of AI DAX Copilot scribe service in the fall.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population.
- Collaborate with onsite specialists (Endocrinology Surgery Cardiology Rheumatology Sports Medicine Pulmonary) for group consults within 48 hours.
- Utilize onsite case management for chronic disease and virtual behavioral health consultant.
- Participate in clinical collaboration and onsite group consultations.
