Tower Engineering Professionalsis seeking a fulltime employee for aTower Technician II in our Elgin IL location. This position is requires 1 years of Telecom/Climbing experience has paid training and all equipment is provided and you are paid while training. All travel expenses are paid for on top of receiving per diem. Responsibilities:
Field Duties (70 80% of work time):
- Perform inspections tower mappings and post construction inspections on telecommunicationstowers.
- Ability to travel up to five days a week.
- Must have a laborintensive attitude and be capable of climbing towers water tanks or rooftops and the physical ability and willingness to scan probe dig and drill to obtain foundation dimensions and steel reinforcement on guyed SST and Monopole Towers
- Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely efficient accurate and safe manner.
- Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA COMTRAIN etc.)
Office Duties (20 30% of work time):
- Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work.
- Review peer work product.
Qualifications:
- 1 yeas of Telecom/Climbing experience required.
- Must be able to pass preemployment screening that includes background and drug testing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; selfstarter team player and results oriented.
- Must be at least 21 years old have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
