We are looking for you if you:
minimum 35 years of experience in risk management preferably in a regulated environment (banking insurance or similar)
proven experience in managing or building nonfinancial risk frameworks
strong understanding of operational risk concepts (e.g. RCSA KRI issue/event management)
knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. Basel II/III EBA guidelines DORA GDPR)
excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
English Fluent in English (B2)
Youll get extra points for:
professional certifications (e.g. ORM CRMA CIA IRM)
experience with GRC platforms (e.g. Archer MetricStream ServiceNow GRC)
experience in leading teams or mentoring colleagues.
Your responsibilities:
lead the NonFinancial Risk Management (NFR) team and coordinate crossfunctional risk initiatives
oversee the risk identification assessment mitigation and monitoring processes for nonfinancial risks
develop and implement NFR frameworks methodologies tools and policies in line with regulatory expectations and best practices
support the business in understanding and managing their risk exposures
lead risk assessments across business processes
prepare regular risk reporting to executive management and governance committees
ensure timely escalation and remediation of risk issues
monitor regulatory developments and support risk readiness for audits and inspections
contribute to strengthening the organizations overall risk culture and awareness.
Information about the squad:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced NonFinancial Risk Management Team Lead to join our growing NonFinancial Risk Management Department. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the identification assessment and mitigation of nonfinancial risks across the organization including operational compliance conduct legal reputational and ESGrelated risks. You will lead an existing team of risk professionals and work closely with senior stakeholders to embed a strong risk culture and ensure resilience in daytoday operations.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be Chapter Lead Engineer II.
