Pipelayer

Key Information:
- Must have at least 2 years as a pipelayer or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to install valves hydrants air shoring and box culverts.
- Must be able to install concrete pipe pvc pipe MHs and CBs
- Hours: Various shifts project dependent 12hour days
- Must be willing to working evenings and weekends (Various shift rotations)
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:
- Installing water valves hydrants air shoring and box culverts.
- Installing concrete pipe pvc pipe MHs and CBs.
- Communicating with the Foreperson Operators and Crew members.
- Cut/bevel pipe to ensure proper pipe placement.
- Use surveying and grade to properly place pipe.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Topman/Woman or equivalent for various sewer and water projects required.
- Must have a strong understanding of reading grade.
- Must have an understanding of surveying.
- Must be able to do elevation shots.
- Must be able to read and understand drawings.
- CSTS09 or 2020 WHMIS 2015 Ground disturbance 201 fall protection required.
- A successful preaccess drug and Alcohol test may be required depending on the project.
- A reliable means of transportation is required.
- Proficient English language skills required.
Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
