As a Therapeutic Activities Aide you will provide support monitoring and direction to individuals by providing a variety of programs and activities. In this position you will provide instruction and assistance to individuals in carrying out therapeutic activities and vocational employment as prescribedto achieve their individualized life goals. Your duties will include assisting individuals with various levels of mobility and communication in daily activities as well as monitoring individuals at centerwide activities. You can expect to assist individuals with budgeting money childcare and personal hygiene. Additionally you will perform general housekeeping functions in your work area such as basic cleaning tasks and maintaining supplies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with rotating days off and a 30minute lunch. You will work weekends and holidays.
- Travel and overtime as needed
- Free parking!
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months of experience as an Aide Trainee (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- Six months of work experience providing care to individuals requiring assistance with daily activities;or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will requirea medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
