You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailHarney District Hospitals Family Care Clinic is looking to hire a fulltime Medical Assistant to help prepare patients for examinations retrieve and update patient records and under the supervision of a medical provider assist in the care of a patient. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of medical field including general knowledge of medications and drug classifications. Must obtain CCMA within 2 years. General knowledge of English grammar spelling data entry and retrieval and computer applications software. General knowledge of mathematics medical terminology and health. General knowledge of confidentiality concepts and requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with the healthcare professionals public customers and staff. Equivalent to a high school education and six (6) months of related experience or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: CCMA Certification or a minimum of 3 years medical office experience providing direct patient care.
