It was named Brand Innovator of the Yearby Whisky Magazine at its Icons of Whisky America Awards 2015. Buffalo Trace Distillery has also garnered more than 300 awards forits wide range of premium whiskies. The distillery is part of the Sazerac family of companies.
Job Description/Responsibilities
At Buffalo Trace Distillery were always looking for skilled and motivated Maintenance Technicians to join our team. Even if we dont have an immediate opening we want to hear from you! This posting is part of our evergreen pipeline a proactive way to connect with top talent for upcoming roles.

As a Maintenance Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Skilled performance of industrial mechanical duties
- Bottling and distillery equipment maintenance and installation including but not limited to hydraulics pneumatics and pumps.
- Support operations by responding to trouble calls quickly diagnosing issues and making timely and accurate repairs
- Participation in continuous improvement efforts including project work machinery component rebuilds etc.
Qualifications/Requirements
MUST
- A record of successful maintenance experience with a mastery of skills needed to perform everyday maintenance tasks in a fastpaced manufacturing facility.
- Ability/Willingness to worksecond or third shift.
- Successful candidates will be required to receive acceptable scores on several tests including mechanical and electrical aptitude exams preemployment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and problem solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent safety and attendance records.
- High School diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Maintenance
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Hydraulics experience
- Machine safety inspections
- Experience in manufacturing environment

- Conveyor systems
- Bottling equipment such as labelers fillers and case packers
- Packaging robots
- Pumps
- Industrial dryers
- Centrifuges
- Control and automatic valves
- Air compressors
$31.61 per hour
