Here are a few attributes you will require to be successful in this position:
Inspect skid steer loader and equipment prior to use to ensure it is in good repair
Operate skid steer loader and equipment in a safe and effective manner
Perform maintenance on skid steer loader and equipment as required and keep detailed logs of all maintenance
Clean and lubricate skid steer machinery and equipment
Adhere to all health and safety standards as set forth by the company
Ensure skid steer loader and related equipment is operating to its maximum capacity
Determine safe lifting capacities
Excavate lift load and/or move various materials
Provide assistance to other crew members as required
Ensure proper personal protective equipment is used at all required times and is in proper working order (e.g.: steel toed boots)
Any other related work duties as assigned
You have one to two years of experience and must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate Nice to have; Ground Disturbance and H2S Alive
You have experience in using compactors and trampers (jumping jack)
You are able to lift up to 923 Kg
You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team
Valid drivers license Drivers Abstract is required
