Job Description
As an Intern in the Industrial Group at our downtown Seattle office location you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and project managers on realworld projects gaining handson experience in various phases of the design and construction process. The type and scope of the projects vary but typically involve industrial projects for manufacturing and privatesector clients and related infrastructure.
- Support various phases of project delivery from design to construction and closeout.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to help establish project goals and objectives.
- Help create project plans budgets and schedules under supervision.
- Track project progress and assist in identifying potential risks.
- Participate in QA/QC processes related to project submissions.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with clients and participate in project meetings.
- Support project budgeting cost tracking and financial performance monitoring.
- Help conduct market research and assist in developing business strategies.
Qualifications :
- Current enrollment in a BSCE program
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project team
- Strong organizational abilities
- Desire for continued learning
Additional Information :
Compensation
Hourly rate for this position is expected to be $22 pending the candidates qualifications.
Physical Demands:
- Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.
- Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
- Occasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking standing kneeling or navigating uneven terrain.
- Traveling to project sites or client meetings which may involve driving or flying.
