We are seeking a MES Administrator that will develop concepts and support the implementation of the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a silicon carbide semiconductor manufacturing facility. This MES Administrator will work with other members of engineering teams production quality and IT staff to ensure the MES meets the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of a new Manufacturing Execution System (Promis).
- Independently create concepts for the MES in cooperation with the areas of manufacturing and process engineering.
- Monitor system analyze errors and adjust configurations if necessary ensuring compliance along the way.
- Assist in testing and commissioning new versions and extending MES as required.
- Mapping testing documenting and monitoring standardized process flows in the cooperation with departments.
- Create user concept (IdM) and be responsible to ensure authorized personnel have the right access.
- Design and operate MES interfaces as system manager. Be available as a competent contact for all users of the MES interfaces.
- Analyze requirements from value streams check feasibility within MES.
- Develop concepts for solutions in the MES coordinate with affected bodies assess and evaluate risks.
- To implement and monitor projects with MES create project plans coordinate them define milestones.
- Support and advise users during implementation and operations. Design plan and implement training measures.
- Support and advise the end users of the MES. Clarify more complex residual problems and ensure ongoing 24/7 production.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Electronics and Electrical Engineering Information Systems or equivalent
- 5 years of professional working experience
- Strong knowledge of and/or experience within a Manufacturing process and MES concepts. 2 years of experience with Promis is required
- Good IT troubleshooting skills.
- Must have the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong ability to read understand and interpret technical documents and manuals.
- Ability to create and maintain operating and training documents.
- Strong communications skills with various audiences from engineers to operators to international colleagues.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft applicationsWord Excel PowerPoint
- Ability to train all levels of associates.

Additional Information :
- This role will be working on site in Roseville CA.
- This position will travel international as needed potentially annually for weeks at a time.
- This position works Monday Friday additional hours as necessary.

The U.S. base salary range for this fulltime position is $100000$120000. Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
