Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer at John Crane you will oversee the installation and maintenance of John Crane Sense systems ensuring optimal performance through handson support and technical troubleshooting. The Field Service Engineer will work closely with customers both remotely and onsite provide system expertise and deliver tailored recommendations to enhance reliability.
- Responsible for supervising and assisting John Crane Sense installations and ongoing project maintenance.
- Provide recommendations to improve product performance and procedures.
- Provide technical support to customers including delivering John Crane Sense system expertise and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting of John Crane Sense installations.
- Write and issue project proposals installation reports including providing presentations to support.
- Complete site surveys at customer sites.
- Work with site and contract services to complete installations.
- Support operations with inventory management supplier management equipment testing and planning.
- Additional duties as required
Qualifications :
- Mechanical Engineering Degree from ABET accredited university required
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience.
- Must have prior experience with rotating machinery (pumps and/or compressors)
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC card
- Available to travel 75% of time
- Experience with electrical or instrumentation systems
- Direct customer service experience
- Effective communication and writing skills
- Experience in cross functional roles such as field service operations instrumentations or production.
- Experience working in a diverse environment and a global company is preferred.
Salary Range
$75000.00 $93000.00 USD (dependent on experience)
