Job Description
A dynamic and engaging Economics Teacher is required to join a wellregarded Independent school in Enfield for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 4 and 5 (aged 1418) to develop a strong understanding of economic principles and their application to the real world.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Economics Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Foster a learning environment that encourages critical thinking and analysis of economic issues.
- Prepare students effectively for A Level examinations and support their progression to higher education.
- Contribute to the schools cocurricular activities and enrich the learning experience of students.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Economics.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Economics Teacher lessons at Key Stages 4 and 5.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of economic theories and contemporary issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of making economics relevant and engaging for students.
