Job Description
A vibrant school in Westminster with a strong commitment to the creative arts is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their expressive school team. Location: WestminsterRole: Art Teacher (FullTime Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Art lessons across Key Stages 34 (and potentially KS5) encouraging expressive outcomes.
- Inspire students to develop their skills in a range of artistic disciplines fostering individual expression and creativity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Art curriculum promoting diverse forms of expression.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Art valuing individual expression.
- Potentially lead extracurricular Art clubs or contribute to school art exhibitions celebrating student expression.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Art Fine Art or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply) with a focus on encouraging student expression.
- Strong subject knowledge in both traditional and contemporary art media with an understanding of diverse forms of expression.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire creativity and expression in art.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to a vibrant school art community valuing individual expression.
