Our wellequipped school in Richmond is seeking a Dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their supportive and resourced Food Technology department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Food Technology Teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 fostering their understanding of nutrition food science and practical cookery skills. Location: RichmondRole: Food Technology Teacher (FullTime Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 34.
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of nutrition food science and practical cookery skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Food Technology curriculum.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Food Technology.
- Potentially contribute to extracurricular cooking clubs or healthy eating initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Food Technology.
- Degree in Food Technology Nutrition or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong knowledge of nutrition food science food safety and practical cookery techniques.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with a focus on safety in the Food Technology kitchen.
- A passion for fostering an understanding of food and cooking skills through Food Technology.
