Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons covering performance composition and appreciation across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Music examinations ensuring a strong understanding of musical theory and history.
- Foster a creative and collaborative environment where students can explore their musical talents and develop their performance skills.
- Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular musical activities such as choirs bands and instrumental ensembles.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Music.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Music Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong musical skills including performance ability on at least one instrument and a solid understanding of music theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of inspiring a passion for music in students of all abilities.
