Job Description

Director/General Manager Sales & Operations

Henderson NV Hybrid Travel FullTime

This is your chance to put your stamp on something big.

Our client a growing industrial safety solutions company is looking for a strong and strategic General Manager to lead their Nevada division. You ll be stepping into a highimpact leadership role with full P&L ownership a talented (but evolving) team and the opportunity to take the reins of a division with serious growth potential.

This isn t a "coast and maintain" type of environment. Its complex fastmoving and filled with moving parts from sales expansion and team development to operational optimization and customer engagement.

What You ll Be Driving:

Full accountability over sales operations and team performance of a multimillion dollar business unit.

CrossFunctional Coordination

  • Lead collaboration between sales project delivery logistics finance and customer service teams to ensure seamless across the business unit.
  • Serve as the goto liaison between field teams inside sales and technical operations to resolve issues and align priorities.
Reporting & KPI Management
  • Develop track and report on key operational KPIs (ontime delivery project margins customer satisfaction etc..
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance reviews rootcause analysis and corrective action plans.

Supply Chain & Vendor Oversight

  • Coordinate with vendors manufacturers and freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
  • Negotiate supplier terms and manage costsaving initiatives across procurement.

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Evaluate and improve operational workflows (order fulfillment project coordination quoting etc..
  • Lead CRM/ERP system usage compliance and adoption across the team.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities for repeatable tasks.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Work closely with finance to build annual and quarterly operating budgets.
  • Monitor monthly P&L performance and adjust plans proactively to hit targets.

Talent Development & Culture

  • Oversee all hiring onboarding and training within the division.
  • Lead performance management processes and succession planning.
  • Shape a strong culture of accountability communication and results.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all projects and operations meet safety quality and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee contracts warranties and operational risk exposures with legal or executive teams.


Requirements

MustHave Experience:

  • 7 years in B2B technical sales (industrial manufacturing construction or engineered products)
  • 3 years leading teams with full P&L responsibility or regional/business unit oversight
  • Proven experience in scaling sales teams and developing gotomarket strategies
  • Solid understanding of operational workflows: sales ops fulfillment vendor management and logistics
  • Handson experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce Zoho or similar)
  • Strong financial acumen: experience building forecasts managing budgets and reviewing P&L

  • Experience in the safety fall protection or specialty construction products space
  • Exposure to Lean/continuous improvement or Six Sigma principles
  • Experience implementing or optimizing ERP/CRM tools across departments
  • Prior background in both sales and operations leadership (not just one)

Minimum of 4 years of B2B Outside sales experience. Experience in a consultative selling environment into Procurement to C-Level contacts. Willingness to work at heights on rooftops to complete full site inspections of clients. Strong sales performer that constantly achieves goals and surpassing KPI's. Preferably degree educated. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written as well as verbal) Proactive mindset to recognize direct and indirect opportunities for lead generation and sales Self-motivated, individual contributor and team player Working knowledge of CRM tools, preferred Ability to learn and adapt in a rapidly growing environment Individual characteristics: As the Outside Regional Sales Manager, your attitude and aptitude are critical. You must be personally driven to hunt for business opportunities and exceed monthly sales targets. You will also need to demonstrate an ability to problem solve and take ownership of your work and responsibilities. You are part of the team, have access to support when needed, but will be most successful when you manage your time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities within the business.
