Job Description

Job Title: Remote Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technician
Job Type: FullTime Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technician to research develop and implement cuttingedge AI technologies across all facets of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AI/ML models data processing and automation. This role requires expertise in integrating AIdriven solutions to enhance operations improve efficiency and drive innovation. You will play a key role in streamlining workflows especially in accounting and operations through AIpowered tools and strategic integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies to identify opportunities for businesswide implementation.
Design develop and deploy AI models and automation tools to improve processes across different departments.
Integrate and optimize tools like for invoice automation Dext for receipt management Fathom or Jirav for cash flow forecasting and 7shifts for labor optimization.
Ensure POS and accounting systems (e.g. Lavu and Restaurant365 are synced using tools like Zapier Make or Omnivore.
Build and maintain internal AI dashboards using Power BI or Looker Studio for insights into financials labor metrics and operational performance.
Work with bank aggregators (e.g. Plaid Yodlee) and tools like Dext Prepare or AutoEntry to streamline bank transaction imports into Restaurant365.
Implement reconciliation tools like AutoRek or BlackLine and explore smart bookkeeping assistants such as Botkeeper or Zeni.
Monitor troubleshoot and optimize AI systems for performance accuracy and scalability.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate AI solutions into business operations customer support marketing finance and other applicable areas.
Ensure AI solutions align with industry standards ethical guidelines and business objectives.
Provide technical support training and documentation for AI applications across teams.
Stay updated with the latest AI trends tools and best practices to drive continuous innovation.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of machine learning natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or Scikitlearn.
Proficiency in Python SQL and cloud platforms (AWS Google Cloud Azure).
Knowledge of AI ethics bias mitigation and responsible AI practices.
Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
About You You will thrive in this role if you have: Strong understanding of the US financial industry, especially related to consumer finance Knowledge of credit ratings, their implications and how they impact financing decisions Familiarity with basic standard and practices of financing in the U.S. One to two-plus years of experience working in small business funding. Strong multitasking abilities in a high-energy/fast-paced environment. Effective and prioritization skills. Drive for delivering results Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salesforce experience is heavily preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Desired Skills: Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Ability to handle queries professionally and maintain a customer centric approach Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
