Job purpose
Responsible for the Manufacturing Supervision of the Flower Branch facility to include molding and assembly in the Healthcare side of the business. The role will be responsible for startup rampup and serial production of the manufacturing operation. The business unit Drug Delivery which requires the handling of (scheduled and unscheduled) is starting up at the Flowery Branch facility. The role will be deeply involved in the setup of drug handling during assembly and storage the creation of the respective documentation (SOPs Work Instructions logs etc. as well as the selection and training of shop floor personnel for this Business Unit. The position will report to the Operations Manager.
Main accountabilities and tasks
- To be able to work safely and follow all safety guidelines.
- Responsible for manufacturing in injection molding operations in a healthcare environment
- Responsible for manufacturing assembly operations in a healthcare environment
- Responsible for manufacturing packaging and serialization operations in a healthcare environment
- Monitor production output in terms of quality quantity and efficiency
- Responsible for live monitoring of progress towards targets and ensuring corrective action and notification of variance
- Organize plan delegate and execute scheduled production runs for all manufactured products
- Plan people and equipment resources to achieve production requirements ensuring cost and quality are controlled
- Ensure accurate bookings/corrections to ERP system for labor/s/inventory etc.
- Associate morale and engagement

- Ensure adherence to internal and external quality and regulatory standards
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures
- Work with Quality department to ensure specification compliance
- Create and maintain an environment of innovative continuous improvement focusing on quality cost reduction process development and capacity
- Review and comply with all regulatory operational and personnel policies and procedures (including but not limited to safety environmental quality employee relations) recommending changes as appropriate
- Perform additional special projects and assignments as assigned
- Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working environmental protection and continual improvement
Qualifications :
Desired experience and qualifications
Work experience: 5 years operations experience
Education: Bachelors degree in related field preferred or equivalent education or experience in similar role
Other:
- Experience in a healthcare manufacturing environment (preferably with drug handling)
- Good problem solving and organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and processes
- Detail oriented as related to a project or task perform work accurately and thoroughly and to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be selfdirected and motivated to optimally utilize the available time to organize and complete expected work within given deadlines and reasonable work schedules.
- Communication skills both oral and written as required to communicate effectively with others at all levels in the organization and to provide clear and concise reports and policies as needed. Ability to effectively present information publicly.
- Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
- Work well on team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite email systems and other computer programs
