Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Collaboration Systems Engineer will share responsibility for the design implementation operation and maintenance of Teledynes voice and collaboration systems and services across over 260 locations worldwide. The position will assist to design architecture for Teledynes voice and collaboration environment and work closely with the manager of the group to set strategy and direction for the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement manage and troubleshoot of all aspects of Cisco Webex Calling from migration of legacy telephony solutions to setting up voice call queues for a contact center.
  • Maintain manage and troubleshoot existing Cisco Unified Communications onpremises environment.
  • Maintain manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams from a meetings and telephony perspective including Microsoft Teams Room appliances panels and IP phones and associated Microsoft licensing.
  • Maintain manage and troubleshoot Zoom for Government platform and hosts.
  • Assist with incidents and tasks in ServiceNow queues as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must have a thorough understanding of voice/video/collaboration system technologies
  • Excellent handson experience with the following Products/Technologies:
    • All aspects of Cisco Webex Calling cloud telephony including:
      • Workspaces
      • Voice queues/CX Essentials
      • Attendant Console
      • Everbridge Redsky E911
    • Webex Contact Center
    • Webex App as a softphone
    • Cisco OnPremises Unified Communication environment (CUCM Unity Connection Emergency Responder Contact Center Express Attendant Console Advanced)
    • Intrado Revolution for paging including SIP paging relays paging adapters speakers horns strobes
    • Cisco IP Phones:series Webex 840/860 WiFi
    • Cisco Analog Voice Gateways: VGseries ATAs
    • Cisco SIP Video Telepresence Endpoints: Webex Room Kit/Mini/Plus/70s
    • Microsoft Teams including:
    • Teams Room (MTR) appliances using Logitech/HP (Poly) video endpoints and peripherals
    • Teams Schedulers (Panels) using Logitech/HP (Poly) hardware
    • Teams Meetings policies and settings for all three types
    • Teams Telephony including IP phones
    • Zoom (Zoom for Government preferred) video conferencing
  • Along with the above technologies the following knowledge is also desirable:
  • Cisco SBCs: Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)
  • Imagicle Call Recording
  • Tendfor for Microsoft Teams telephony
  • InterFAX Online Fax Service
  • Cisco routers and switches including multicast
  • Cisco IOS software
  • LAN/WAN links (Ethernet WiFi SDWAN)
  • Internal and external CA certificate management
  • VMWare Virtualization
  • Windows Server 2019/2022

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science/related field is desired with a minimum of five 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CCNA Collaboration or CCNP Voice Certification preferred
