Real Estate Global Debt Associate - REF123V

The Real Estate Global Debt Associate will be responsible for all investment activities including deal sourcing evaluation diligence and asset management. This is a highimpact role that offers the right candidate an opportunity to leverage RRS Groups integrated platform and resources while playing a critical part in the ongoing growth of the team and its commercial real estate portfolio.    

• Spearhead analytical and project support for all investment activities including:
• Constructing comprehensive financial models
• Conducting rigorous sensitivity analyses
• Performing indepth comparable analyses
• Executing discrete financial analyses
• Overseeing financial and asset due diligence
• Conducting thorough industry research
• Execute property and market due diligence including necessary travel
• Actively participate in deal closings with a focus on meticulous review and negotiation of legal documentation
• Establish and maintain professional communication with external partners and due diligence advisors including sponsors brokers attorneys investors and thirdparty consultants throughout the deal transaction process
• Collaborate closely with the asset management team to rigorously monitor existing investments on an ongoing basis
• Develop comprehensive and analytically sound investment committee memoranda
• Provide critical support for the groups daytoday operations including:
• Creating highquality presentations
• Developing complex Excel spreadsheets
• Maintaining accurate databases
• Fulfilling ad hoc requests with precision and timeliness

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree from a reputable undergraduate institution with a strong preference for Finance Mathematics or a closely related field
• Minimum of 13 years of substantive experience in real estate investment banking commercial real estate lending/CMBS principal investing and/or brokerage
• Demonstrated capacity to contribute significantly to strategic dialogues and collaborate effectively with investment teams legal counsel brokers and borrowers
• Proven ability to exercise sound investment judgment including the critical skills to identify potential risks and devise solutions to complex challenges throughout all stages of a transaction
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
• Meticulous attention to detail with a track record of producing errorfree work
• Highly developed interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication with external counterparties in a professional manner
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a demanding fastpaced teamoriented work environment with a commitment to maintaining high standards under pressure

Additional Information :

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:  The salary pay rate for this position is anticipated to range between $115000 $130000. This range is a goodfaith estimate based on the qualifications necessary for the position including experience training and other considerations permitted by that may be used when making an offer may include a candidates skills experience and geographic location the expected quality and quantity of work and internal pay alignment as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive employees pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
