Job Summary:
The CAPS Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in leading the Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) a unique professionbased learning experience that integrates Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways with realworld application. This position is responsible for developing and managing immersive studentdriven learning environments including inclusive studentrun enterprises. The CAPS Coordinator collaborates with industry community and educational partners to design meaningful projectbased learning experiences where students apply both technical skills and the Mesa Public Schools Portrait of a Graduate competencies.
In addition to workforcealigned instruction the coordinator ensures the inclusion of students with disabilities utilizing background knowledge in special education and transitiontowork programs. This role actively supports equitable access to career readiness experiences for all students.
Candidates must complete anonlineapplication which requires appropriate Arizona certification valid IVP Arizona fingerprint clearance card evidence of highly qualified status three letters of recommendation and transcript of credits.
