Job Description
Atrium HealthMusculoskeletal Institute Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Albemarle NC is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. We are looking for a candidate that is quality driven and is ready to make a big impact on a small community.
Our practice is a communitybased hospital and a highly motivated partner within Atrium Healths Musculoskeletal Institute (MSKI) of which is one of the largest Musculoskeletal programs in the country. Were fortunate to retain our small community feel while also enjoying the proximity to the Charlotte metro region. Additionally we have an extensive network of physicians within the institute including spine ortho primary care sports medicine physical medicine and rehab.
Opportunity highlights:
- Modern surgical suites featuring highdefinition video and stateoftheart equipment.

- Team of four physicians and two advanced practice providers.
- Weekday schedule (MondayFriday 8 AM5 PM) with dedicated clinic and OR time.
- Weekday call shared among providers; weekend call covered by Atriums weekender and locum team.
Our ideal candidate:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
- ACGMEaccredited training program completion.
Experience in:
- General orthopedic procedures.
- Arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
- Joint procedures including total joint replacements and knee surgery.
- Strong commitment to quality care and community engagement.
