Job Description
Merchant category team at Amazon India Development Center is seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing team. In this role you will ensure the quality and reliability of Merchant category products such as flights Hotels Movies Bus Trains Auto & Bike Insurance booking platforms by creating maintaining and executing test plans identifying defects and working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams. You will be responsible for creating manual test scripts executing tests analysing results and collaborating with development teams to ensure the delivery of defectfree services.
Key job responsibilities
Execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds
Perform test case and report bugs accurately
Understand testing procedures and guidelines for new releases.
Perform regression and repetitive testing exercises to qualify builds without compromising on quality
Be comfortable with capturing results communicating and escalating failures and providing individual status reports.
Raising all failures/doubts related to the of test cases in the clarification portal and closing the same as per the SLAs.
Scripting in language such as Java Python would be would be an addon
High level of energy and proactive nature. A sense of ownership and drive and a willingness to accept the challenge of daily deadlines is essential
Knowledge of API testing and web services
