Job Description
The Teachers Retirement System (TRS) a large public pension fund located in the financial district in NYC seeks an intern who will work in the Risk Management Department for a 10week summer internship program. Our intern program provides students with an opportunity to learn about the Fraud Risk function at TRS and participate in fraud prevention and detection initiatives.
Position Summary. The Fraud Risk Summer Intern position provides an opportunity to learn about fraud risk in a financial environment. The intern will be a part of our Fraud Risk team that will be using research logical and technology skills to identify missing and ineffective controls for high risk processes and the creation of fraud awareness materials.

Qualifications :
As of June of the Program year the prospective intern must be a student matriculated in a college or be a recent college graduate (winter/spring term of the Program year).
NOTE: Appointment to this title is only valid for the duration of the Program June August each year.
