Job Description
- Working hard to ensure that consistent quality products are produced following all DO & CO standards
- Instilling a culture of job pride and ownership and motivate the team to have the ability to adapt to stressful situations and deal with any emergencies or lastminute changes to production
- Participating in the production preparation and presentation of meals in adherence to the menu specifications
- Prepare and Bake dishes with pride; ensuring they are made to exact specifications
- Work closely with the Pastry Chefs maintaining an inclusive team environment
- Ensure the quality levels remain at our high standards
- Partner with the Chefs and Sous Chefs helping them with any given duties in kitchen management
- Delegate responsibilities to Kitchen Helpers giving them your knowledge to assist in their development
Qualifications :
- Passion for highend cuisine love for food and motivation to deliver exceptional service
- Culinary education previous experience in a similar role or in a fast paced high end fresh food environment
- Build strong relationships with the team mentoring and motivating creating a team spirit encouraging them to be at their best
- Flexible in the way you think making decisions efficiently and handling change to ensure everything we do is right for our customers and the DO & CO family
- Have a great understanding and working knowledge of Operations and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement by taking a handson approach
- Good knowledge of international recipes and cooking technique
