Job Description
Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City OR is looking to hire a CRNA to help support surgery and various other departments within the hospital.
As a CRNA you will develop anesthesia plans for patients and administer anesthesia. You will observe patients physiological condition while under anesthesia and initiate corrective actions as necessary. The CRNA will perform pre and post operative evaluations on assigned cases and document in patient charts and required records.
IMPORTANT: This position consists of a sole/independent practitioner rotating with one other CRNA to cover call 24/7 365 days per year therefor the candidate must be comfortable working 100 autonomously and managing every type of anesthesia needs and anesthesia/OR emergencies. This is a fulltime position with a rotating schedule covering all anesthesia services 24/7 including scheduled cases OB anesthesia and Oncall.
General Requirements:
One to two years experience in patient care preferred
Demonstrate a commitment to a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care and work cooperatively with associates and other providers
Education:
Bachelors degree in Nursing
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Anesthesiology
License/Certification:
Licensed in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
Licensed as a CRNA in State of Oregon
ACLS and PALS are required at hire
