Job Description
Monday through Friday 6:00am through 2:30pm
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance and operations team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions while also communicating effectively with supervisors and will be able to work on a variety of projects including machine and electrical repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the production changeover on all JPL machines
- Troubleshoot and repair major and minor issues on all JPL equipment
- Preventative maintenance inspections on all JPL equipment
- Minor repairs to the JPL building and forklifts
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC issues
- Keeps maintenance shop organized and clean
- All other duties as assigned by plant supervisor
Requirements:
- Requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs and up to 130 lbs with assistance
- Requires getting under and on top of equipment on occassion to make repairs
- Requires working in an unconditioned environment
- GED or Highschool Diploma
- 5 years with maintenance and electrical experience
- 3 years in manufacturing maintenance and repair
