Details:
Key Responsibilities:
- Process biweekly or semimonthly payroll using ADP or Paycom.
- Maintain and update payroll records including new hires terminations raises bonuses and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll wage and hour laws and best practices.
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters deductions and policies.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to internal departments as required.
- Coordinate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure accurate benefit deductions tax filings and ledger entries.
- Assist in yearend processes including W2 and 1099 generation and distribution.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with ADP/Paycom support when needed.
Details:
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in extremely fast paced environment.
- 2 years of payroll experience preferably in a multistate environment.
- Proficient with ADP Workforce Now ADP RUN or Paycom.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws tax regulations and best practices.
- High level of accuracy attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
Pay rate range: $20$25/hr
