Senior Doors Frames & Hardware (DFH) Detailer Location: Houston or Dallas TX (Remote options available for PT/MT/CT zones)

Position Overview: We are seeking a detailoriented Senior DFH Detailer with proven COMSENSE proficiency to manage complex commercial projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities: Create detailed shop drawings and submittal packages using COMSENSE software Review architectural drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy Coordinate with project managers architects and contractors Develop hardware schedules and door schedules Perform material takeoffs and quantity calculations Review and validate project specifications Mentor junior detailers and provide technical guidance Maintain project documentation and revision control
Required Qualifications: 5 years of experience in commercial DFH detailing Advanced proficiency with COMSENSE software Strong understanding of building codes and ADA requirements DHI certification preferred Experience with hollow metal frames wood doors and architectural hardware Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Technical Skills: COMSENSE expertise AutoCAD proficiency Microsoft Office Suite Experience with construction management software
Work Environment: Inoffice position available in Denver CO or Hawthorne CA Remote work options available for candidates in Pacific Mountain or Central time zones Fulltime position with standard business hours
