Job Description

Structural Engineer

OPPORTUNITY

For a recent graduate with an interest in designing structural systems for large industrial and commercial facilities. Join an integrated team of architects engineers and project managers and engage in challenging projects up to $500 million for many of the biggest brands in the industry. This key role will develop a broad set of engineering competencies technical design knowledge consultation and problemsolving skills in an environment that values collaboration.

POSITION

Reports to the Manager of Structural Engineering. Participates on design teams to prepare drawings for the structural portion of major projects in the areas of industrial commercial science technology and workplace. Collaborates on structural engineering contributions to projects including onsite data gathering design specifications client contact contract documents cost estimating shop drawing review and construction coordination. This position will work proactively with multidiscipline teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structures; EI a plus
13 years experience required; Familiarity with Revit a plus
Commitment to professional growth; intelligent contributor with desire to learn; strong interpersonal skills work ethic and leadership capabilities
An interest in specializing in commercial retail or industrial design projects
Proven selfstarter with the ability to manage time and work priorities independently
