Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our talented Data & AI team as a Data Engineer where youll play a pivotal role in delivering cuttingedge data solutions for our diverse range of clients. Youll be immersed in the dynamic world of cloud data primarily focusing on designing developing and managing robust endtoend data migration strategies within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Your work will directly contribute to our clients success by ensuring their data is accessible reliable and ready for analysis.

Working collaboratively within supportive crossfunctional project teams you will leverage your expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) to build and optimise sophisticated data pipelines. This includes implementing both full and incremental data loads handling complex scheduling and ensuring seamless with proactive monitoring. A key part of your role involves guaranteeing the highest standards of data quality through meticulous transformation cleansing and validation processes developing efficient ETL logic and implementing checks to safeguard data integrity.

Youll be a technical problemsolver adept at implementing resilient errorhandling and troubleshooting data flow issues related to processing or connectivity. Your deep understanding of SQL Server within Azure will be crucial as you develop complex queries and stored procedures optimise database models and support data warehousing initiatives. Furthermore youll manage large datasets effectively using Azure Storage solutions like Blob and ADLS Gen2 always ensuring secure and efficient data handling. Partnering closely with business analysts architects QA teams and client stakeholders youll ensure solutions meet requirements conduct thorough testing maintain clear documentation and champion data engineering best practices.

 


Qualifications :

  • Experience: Handson experience specifically in data engineering focusing on data migration ETL development and data warehousing.
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF): Deep practical expertise including pipeline design dynamic data loads (full/incremental) performance tuning monitoring and robust exception handling.
  • SQL Server / Azure SQL: High proficiency including database design writing complex stored procedures/functions and query optimisation.
  • Azure Storage: Handson experience working with solutions like Blob Storage and ADLS Gen2 for managing varied datasets. 
  • Microsoft Fabric: Experience using Fabric for modern data integration and processing tasks. 
  • ETL Frameworks: Solid grasp of ETL frameworks and best practices for data transformation and cleansing.
  • Collaboration: Ability to excel at collaborating effectively within diverse teams.
  • Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • ProblemSolving & Analytical Skills: Natural problemsolver with strong analytical abilities to diagnose issues in large datasets and optimise data workflows.
  • Documentation: Meticulous approach to documentation and understanding its importance.
  • Client Focus & Enthusiasm: Enthusiasm for data quality and delivering highimpact reliable data solutions for clients.
  • Adaptability & Learning: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
