Do you have relevant experience with youth content and a strong understanding of the digital landscape targeting this audience Can you combine creativity and precision to turn trends into reality If so we invite you to read further.
As a Web Editor you will work for the Youth and Digital sector of the television division. You will be responsible for representing the youth brand on social media and promoting the programming. In this role you will collaborate with production programming communications and promotion and marketing teams.
The first main responsibility is managing the social media accounts for RadioCanadas Youth Zone:
Adapt Youth Zone video content for these platforms.
Propose creative ways to highlight content and have a good sense of catchy phrasing.
Create content on set and collaborate with the involved productions.
Understand the codes and trends of each platform.
Engage and nurture the online community.
Have a strategic vision aligned with the objectives set in collaboration with the relevant teams.
Manage a publishing calendar.
Analyze results make recommendations and adapt the strategy accordingly.
Protect and promote the brands interests.
The second responsibility involves updating content on RadioCanadas digital platforms:
Coordinate content with the platforms publishing teams.
Monitor programming content through internal video management systems.
Ensure quality control and clearly communicate about all processes related to video and content management.
This position is hybrid.
Job requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Three 3 years of relevant experience
Skills:
Strong ability to use video processing tools
Excellent knowledge of TikTok Instagram Facebook and YouTube platforms
Proven experience in community management
Strong writing skills and excellent command of written French
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail and thoroughness
Autonomy and initiative
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong adaptability and ability to manage priorities
Good understanding of youth audiences and digital environments
Ability to quickly learn different tools (CMS and internal video processing tools)
Ability to understand user behaviors and propose visibility strategies
Ability to monitor technological trends and make recommendations
Excellent command of Adobe editing software (Premiere Pro After Effects)
Comfortable creating visual content with Canva
Good knowledge of RadioCanadas orientations
