About the unit
This unit is a 13bed Med Surg unit with overflow into ICU. Stroke Certified. We treat our patients as our own family. Accountability honesty compassion and courage are very important. We pride ourselves on great team work collaboration and safe personal care for our patients. Regionals also give you the opportunity to have flexibility with your schedule. Nurse to patient ratio 1:5 for days up to 1:6 on nights.

Scope of work
Under the direction of the RN/Midlevel Provider/Physician and in collaboration with other members of the health care team contributes to the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of patient care. Informs patients and families about treatments and medications being received equipment being utilized and other related activities as appropriate in coordination with the RN/Midlevel Provider/Physician. Documents care provided via computer/written patient record in a manner consistent with guidelines.
