About the Female PE Teacher Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join our dedicated PE department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4 inspiring young women to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle.

Responsibilities of the Female PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated PE lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their PE lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in PE providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Promote health and wellbeing through PE and encourage students to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of PE teaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching PE at the secondary level.
  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for PE.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for PE and a commitment to inspiring students.
