About the Geography Teacher Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our highachieving Humanities department. The successful Geography Teacher will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for the world around them. As a Geography Teacher at you will play a key role in shaping young minds.
Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver highquality lessons that cater to a range of learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum and departmental resources.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS).
- A degree in Geography or a related field.
- Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
