Maintenance Mechanic B Role Overview
Oversees and performs repairs on production facility equipment.
DaytoDay Responsibilities
- Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from themaintenance manager.
- Troubleshoot maintain and resolve issues related to the DC equipment and controls.
- Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phases systems.
- Perform equipment installation and welding.
- Records work done on forms provided.
- Follows OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Identifies parts needed and maintains aninventory of parts in thestockroom.
- Performs equipment changeovers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and three 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
- One 1 to three 3 years PLC troubleshooting experience.
- One 1 to three 3 years of experience with electrical such as Three Phase.
- Maintenance troubleshooting experience.
- Three 3 years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
- One 1 to two 2 years experience with pneumatics.
- Knowledge of Fabricating Electrical Pneumatics Welding and Rigging.
- Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Fluent Troubleshooting Techniques.
- Good Machine Shop skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
