We are looking for an Associate Capping Audit to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pureplay fleet manager in the world we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the Associate Capping Audit you will be held accountable to ensure all vendor reviews research and setup are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

A Day in the Life

  • Complete service cloud cases for internal and external inquiries and payment requests on Capping related transactions
  • Review and audit Bill of Sale Factory invoice and vendor upfit invoices to ensure compliance and accuracy of amount billed while comparing them to the Purchase order documents
  • Analyze and reconcile and identify billing and payment discrepancies and anomalies providing detailed differences to internal stakeholders
  • Follow up for missing payment paperwork delivery date Title & Registration document or supporting document for tolls and violation as needed
  • Research and review payment inquiries and assist with account reconciliations both internally and externally
  • Respond to inquiries and work with Supplier Services on vendor set up bank changes vendor holds etc.
  • Review the validity of taxes billed and the accuracy of tax amounts billed based on tax requirements for the different provinces and/or States in addition to other tax requirements
  • Respond or verify to vendors set up inquiries
  • Apply Lease vs Loan vs managed unit finance/accounting/tax and capping requirements
  • Review client exceptions interpret policy and apply those exceptions to Cap calculation and supplemental bill in addition to capping policy updates maintenance
  • Work with the dealer/vendor FPS Acquisitions or with the Title and Registration Vehicle Processing and Tax department to address any discrepancies
  • Update SOPs and/or FAQs
  • Maintain compliance and internal/external controls
  • Participate in the implementation of company initiatives on projects including testing

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business Finance or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • 3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting related field
  • Strong overall fleet business knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication able to communicate internally as well as externally with customers
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills. Must be able to identify root causes to problems and develop solutions to eliminate recurrence
  • Detail and executionoriented

The hiring base salary range for this position is $51800 to $71200 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individuals knowledge skills experience equity with other team members and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
