Job Description
Overview
Responsibilities
Posts process physician contours to allow accurate computergenerated external beam radiation treatment planning.
Serves as a resource to simulation and radiation treatment therapists.
Performs simulation treatment and treatment planning including radioactive seed implants as needed.
Performs both rigid and deformable image fusions.
Performs multisystem dose accumulation and prepare documentation such as isodoses and dosevolume histogram (DVH) reports.
Receives and processes radioactive material according to the organizations radioactive material receipt policy.
Performs routine planning system maintenance including management of patient libraries archiving/movement of patient data assisting with patient data infrastructure issues and quality assurance of various systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
no experience required w/Graduate of a Certified Medical Dosimetrist Program
