Job Description
- Load products onto the paint line
- Mask and plug non painted sections of product as appropriate based on work instructions or blueprints
- Unload and pack finished product into boxes on pallets
- Assist in maintaining powder/chemical levels on automatic and batch lines and add as needed
- Use spray guns to apply chemical wash and powder paint on products as appropriate based on work orders
- Clean EV room and all paint guns ventures hoses and tips daily and as needed for color change overs
- Use computer/tablet to clock off work orders in Heijunka system
For This Role You Will Need:
- High School Diploma GED or demonstrated ability to read write and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 70lbs
- Ability to do other duties as assigned
- Ability to carry objects; perform dynamic activities including reaching and stretching; and frequent bending and twisting of the torso
- Ability to pass respirator physical
- Associates Degree in any field
- Prior experience operating powder coat paint line
- Proficient with computers/tablets and use of Microsoft Office products
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Typical shop floor with possible exposure to dirt dust fumes heat cold noise vibration oil and water. May be exposed to any number of these elements.
