Duties And Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach applied piano consisting of both music and nonmusic majors keyboard skills/class piano and collaborative performance. Part of the appointment may include teaching in a secondary area of need (ex: music technology music theory aural perception music education). The appointment is for the fall semester with the possibility for renewal nontenure track. The appointment may also include other responsibilities that vary with the needs of the school. Teach an applied piano studio consisting of both music and nonmusic majors. Teach keyboard skills/class piano courses. Teach collaborative performance. Other responsibilities that vary with the needs of the school. Responsibilities that vary with the needs of the school may include: Collaborative performance with faculty. Advising evaluating and assisting students. Curriculum and/or course development. Teaching in a secondary area of need (ex: music technology music theory aural perception music education).
