Join AETHER to support Intrapreneurial Projects as a Safety Project Manager:
The scope of this intrapreneurial project is to lead machinery safety upgrades across several industrial production sites in Belgium. The Key responsibilities expected from our consultant might include:
- Conceptualize technical solutions for machinery safety enhancements across multiple production sites.
- Define and implement the project strategy from design to startupmobilizingand structuringresource in different engineering fields and project supports
- Prepare technical specifications aligned with stakeholder needs and compliance standards.
- Analyze suppliers proposals contribute to selection and contract discussions.
- Coordinate detailed engineering phases involving internal teams and external suppliers.
- Organize and lead periodic site followups and safety design reviews.
- Monitor project progress manage steering committees and report on EHS schedule and costs.
- Ensure handson presence during commissioning and final validation phases.
The experience we are actively looking for:
- Safetyfirst mindset when designing organizing or supervising industrial works from concept to commissioning.
- Strong engineering backgroundmechanics automation electrical; functional safety knowledge is a plus.
- Ideally with a certification such as CMSE (Certified Machinery Safety Expert)or equivalent
- Knowledgeable in Functional Safety with experience in safetyrelated Projects involving machineries upgrades/revampin is a plus.
- Ability to define strategies and structure technical resources accordingly.
- Comfortable preparing specifications analyzing supplier offers and working closely with procurement teams.
- Fluent in English and French (Dutch is a bonus); communicates effectively with operators and management alike.
- Proficiency with MS Project Pack Office basic CAD use; SAP knowledge is a nicetohave.
- Skilled in project control: managing EHS timelines and budget constraints with transparency.
